First lady Regina Carnovale Nunes, who accompanied her husband, responded to the cheers who booed him
The mayor of the capital of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), was booed by revelers at the Anhembi sambodrome on Friday evening, the 9th, as he walked on the catwalk after the opening of the gates. The information comes from the newspaper’s column by Mônica Bergamo Newspaper.
During the mayor’s passage, some demonstrators shouted “do the L” or “Boulos”, alluding to the federal deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP), pre-candidate and perhaps one of Nunes’ competitors for mayor of São Paulo in the next municipal elections.
First lady Regina Carnovale Nunes, who accompanied her husband, retorted the revelers. “Guys in the stands, congratulations to you,” she said, as she looked on and waved at the booing crowd.
Nunes and his wife walked alongside São Paulo’s deputy governor, Felicio Ramuth (PSD), and his wife, Vanessa Ramuth. The main governor, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), was unable to attend due to an agenda in Europe, as Ramuth explained.

Right at the beginning of the avenue, Nunes had a meeting with the musician Zeca Pagodinho, who was performing at the Camarote Bar Brahma. The two greeted each other with a handshake and the presence of the samba singer was welcomed with enthusiasm by the audience.
“People love him,” commented Regina, observing the partygoers’ emotional reaction to Zeca Pagodinho’s presence.
