“Choi Min-ah, the daughter of the company president, enters a mysterious machine thinking it’s a device to help her fight fatigue and accidentally finds herself transformed into chicken nuggets. As her father, Choi Seon-man, and her intern, Go Baek-jung, who is in love with her, desperately try to return her to human form, they discover unexpected secrets.“
This is the pitch for Chicken Nugget, a new South Korean TV series completely insane, adapted from the webtoon of the same name. In the program, drama, comedy, mystery and science fiction, all with Dakgangjeong sauce (닭강정) – the original title of the series, which refers to the Korean fried chicken dish, sweet and crispy.

great actor
Absolutely absurd, the K-Drama features Ryu Seung-ryong as the father. The latter is known in Korea for starring in four of the highest-grossing films in Korean film history – including Extreme Job (2019), the country’s second highest-grossing film of all time, Lee Byeong-hyun’s action comedy. also leads Chicken nuggets. The director is also the screenwriter of Dream, a 2023 sports comedy-drama starring singer and actress IU and comedian Park Seo-joon (The Marvels, Parasite).
Another character in the series is played by Ahn Jae-Hong (The Answer 1988, Mask Girl), an actor known for his work in both film and television. He plays an intern who also tries to save Choi Min-ah. Although the latter only makes a cameo appearance, he is portrayed by actor Kim Yoo-jung, who made his acting debut at age 4 in 2004 and quickly became one of Korea’s most sought-after young actors. He is the star of 2023’s flagship K-Drama, My Demon, which is also available on Netflix.
Let us remind you that Jung Ho-yeon, who became famous all over the world thanks to the role of Kang Sae-byeok, will have a cameo in the series.
