One Piece Season 2: This publication of Luffy leaves no doubt about the continuation of the Netflix series!

After the success of its first season last summer, a live-action sequel to One Piece is long overdue. The Netflix original production is a manga adaptation one piecePublished since 1997 by Japanese author Eiichiro Oda (106 volumes currently available from Glénat).

A story of adventure and humor, One Piece follows Monkey D. The story of Luffy, a young boy who dreams of becoming a pirate king. Thanks to his elastic powers, the latter will form a team of pirates, nicknamed the Straw Hat Crew.

The first season features the main characters that make up the team of heroes: of course, Luffy (played by Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy), but also the swordsman Roronoa Zoro (McEnuy), the navigator Nami (Emily Rudy), the chef Sanji (Taz Skylar) Or Usopp (Jacob Romero), King of the Pipes.

We are going to Arabasta!

Last weekend, Inaki Godoi was a guest of the congress organized in Abu Dhabi. His presence allowed him to meet many fans of the live-action One Piece, but also to visit the region and especially its famous desert, which is so popular in the Hollywood production. But everything indicates that his visit to the capital of the United Arab Emirates hides something else…

One of the posts shows her posing next to a camel, and this detail seems to confirm that Season 2 will fit into Arabasta’s narrative arc. This part of the story takes place in a desert region and the Straw Hat crew is accompanied by a camel during this adventure.

In the caption of his publication, Inaki announces his return “very soon” in the desert. Many fans also commented on Oscar Isaac’s interpretation of Luffy (but also Taz Skylar, who was also at the convention).

If many believe that the latter will play Crocodile, the big bad of the second season, it seems that his presence in Abu Dhabi has nothing to do with One Piece at all. To be continued…

The first season of One Piece is now available exclusively on Netflix.
