Lisa, one of the members of the K-pop group BLACKPINK, will make her acting debut in the cast of the third season of the acclaimed series “The White Lotus”. The information was revealed this Tuesday (13/2) by Variety.
The artist will be credited in the HBO production under her real name, Lalisa Manobal. The new plot and Lisa’s role remain secret, as is the case with all castings this season.
The White Lotus
“The White Lotus” was created by Mike White and follows guests at a luxury hotel chain in exotic locations around the world. The first season was set in Hawaii, while the second moved to Sicily. Now the series lands in the islands of Thailand to begin new recordings.
The production cast includes Leslie Bibb (“My Father Sucks”), Jason Isaacs (“Star Trek: Discovery”), Michelle Monaghan (“The Family Plan”), Parker Posey (“Lost in Space”), Carrie Coon (” The Leftovers”), Aimee Lou Wood (from “Sex Education”), Walton Goggins (“Justified”), Patrick Schwarzenegger (Arnold’s son and member of “V Gen”), Sarah Catherine Hook (“The Conjuring 3”), Sam Nivola (Alessandro’s son and “White Noise” actor), Dom Hetrakul (“Danger in Bangkok”) and Tayme Thapthimthong (“The One-Price Killer 2: Resurrection”), as well as Natasha Rothwell, who returns to reprise her role by Belinda Lindsey, masseuse and hotel employee from Season 1.
The presentation of the third season is scheduled for 2025.
