Star Wars: Samuel L. Jackson wants his own Disney+ series! And you ?

What if, after Boba Fett, another iconic character in the Star Wars saga comes back from the dead? In any case, this is the wish expressed by Samuel L. Jackson, the iconic interpreter of Jedi Master Mace Windu, who appeared in three prequel films (Episodes I to III), directed by George Lucas.

In a special issue of Empire magazine, the American actor expressed his desire to play the character again. But currently, Mace Windu is still presumed dead after Palpatine’s attacks and Anakin Skywalker’s betrayal at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

Considered dead after Revenge of the Sith

His body was never shown on screen, so there is a remote possibility that the Jedi survived his injuries. And the idea of a return, like Boba Fett, cannot be ruled out. It remains to be seen if Disney will agree to bring the character back into the series, and if so, in what form.

Among the most powerful Jedi in the saga, Mace Windu was a member of the Jedi Council. Known for his purple lightsaber color, the latter is also remembered for refusing Anakin Skywalker the title of Jedi Master, a decision that led to his turning to the dark side.

Remember that Mace Windu also appeared in many episodes of the animated series The Clone Wars. However, Samuel L. Jackson did not voice the character in the original version, but actor Terrence S. Carson (although Samuel L. Jackson voiced the Jedi in the animated film The Clone Wars, which was the introduction to the series).

All Star Wars performances are now available exclusively on Disney+.
