Netflix has released a new trailer for “Maiden”, a fantasy film starring Millie Bobby Brown, Eleven (Eleven) from “Stranger Things”. The preview shows the actress’ character being tricked into becoming a maiden sacrificed to a dragon.
Millie plays a young princess, who believes she is marrying the fairytale prince, but on the day of the ceremony she is thrown into a cave to be devoured by a dragon. However, this brutal tradition may finally be broken, as she proves more resilient than the other royal family victims and even finds a sword.
The film is written by Dan Mazeau (“Clash of the Titans 2”) and directed by the Spaniard Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, specialized in horror films, such as “Extermination 2” (2007) and “Intruders” (2011).
The cast also includes Angela Bassett (“Black Panther”), Shohreh Aghdashloo (“The Expanse”), Ray Winstone (“Black Widow”) and Nick Robinson (“Love, Victor”).
The premiere will take place on March 8th.
