The wait is over! Check out the full list of all Korean releases coming to Netflix in 2024
2023 was a big year for Korean productions Netflix. As well as the premiere of series such as romantic comedy Real smile and science fiction production black KnightOver the course of the year, the platform managed to place at least 44 Korean titles in the ranking of the most viewed in all Latin American countries.
In practice, this means that there have been many hours of entertainment, feature films, reality shows, and local variety programs broadcast around the world. And that the invasion of fiction in recent years has contributed to popularizing Korean television, bringing many of its products to the West.
For 2024, Netflix promises even more news coming from the country in different genres and formats. To achieve this, the giant streaming has released a calendar of everything that’s coming up, showing all of the year’s upcoming Korean releases.
Among the most anticipated previews is the third season of Sweet Home, a series that follows the footsteps of a young high school student in the midst of a human monster apocalypse. Announced last year, the new season arrives on the platform in the second quarter of 2024 and already has a fascinated audience waiting for it.
Those who have everything to be successful even when it comes to streaming are Manual for residentsspin-off series by Hospital playlist which also arrives in the second quarter of the year. Just like the original series, the show follows the lives of a group of doctor friends, only now they find themselves in another branch of the Yulje Medical Center.
In addition to these titles, other highly anticipated Korean novelties are the second season of The Creature of Gyeongseonga thriller series set in colonial-era Seoul, and the second season of Round 6the most watched non-English series in the entire history of Netflix.
While the first arrives in the fourth half of the year and has already had an announcement video released by the platform, the sequel to Round 6 Not many details have been revealed yet, it has only been announced that it will be released later this year.
