Deborah Secco surprised Suzana Alvas by paying homage to her character Tiazinha. The actress revived the 90s icon during the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. In addition to adopting Tiazinha’s signature look, Deborah also re-recorded the theme song “Uh! Tiazinha”, in collaboration with singer Vinny, sharing the result on social media.
The tribute generates controversy
The initiative attracted a lot of attention and positive comments, but was not well received by Suzana Alves. She converted to the evangelical religion more than ten years ago, she dedicated herself to sharing her faith and expressed regret for having embodied her sensual figure in the past, seeking distance from this association.
In the process of reuniting with herself, Suzana Alves even burned Tiazinha’s clothes, as part of personal rituals, as she reported in an interview with journalist Leo Dias. The actress also resorted to visual changes and therapy to leave behind her character in the “Program H” of the Band, led by Luciano Huck.
Some editorialists commented that Suzana was consulting her legal team to evaluate possible legal measures. However, Tatá Werneck was also inspired by Tiazinha in the soap opera “Terra e Paixão” without causing the slightest complaint.
