For those in a hurry:
On everyone except you
“Everyone But You,” by director Will Gluck, tells the classic story of coworkers pretending to be a couple. Bea and Ben know each other in college, but are not friends. When a mutual friend invites them to a wedding, they are forced to socialize. Until the imminent meeting with their respective ex-boyfriends, who were also invited to the party, causes the two to join forces and pretend to be a couple.
The plot is inspired by a play by Shakespeare published in 1598. “Much Ado About Nothing” is a comedy that follows two main couples: Beatriz and Bento, and Hero and Cláudio, who face love challenges.
