To celebrate 30 years of Pulp Fiction: time of violencefilm that made the director famous Quentin TarantinoTHE Film library will hold a special program for fans of the famous director. Starting from Thursday 15th, the institution offers a free screening of the director’s films. The program will last until February 25th.
Among the main features to show is My best friend’s birthday, 1987, Tarantino’s first amateur work. Fragments of the film, which was never finished, will be screened in a “rare screening”. Rent dogs1992, the director’s debut production.
The program also includes outdoor sessions of the two volumes of Kill Bill, shown in 35mm. In addition to those already mentioned, Jackie Brown1997, Inglourious Basterds2009, Django Unchained2012, The eight hated it2015 and Once upon a time in… Hollywoodsince 2019, it can also be viewed for free.
To attend the sessions simply go to the Cinemateca – located in Vila Clementino, São Paulo – one hour before to secure tickets. The sessions Kill Bill There will be no distribution of tickets as the capacity will depend on the occupancy of the seats on site. In case of rain the two volumes will be displayed in the internal rooms of the space.
