The first film in the saga to be based on an original story rather than a novel by the late Tom Clancy, it should provide an evening full of action and suspense.
The spy thriller The Ryan Initiative, directed by Kenneth Branagh, tells the story of Jack Ryan (Chris Pine, one of those stars who likes to joke around on set), a brilliant former Marine financial analyst. One day, Thomas Harper (Kevin Costner) recruits him to the CIA to investigate a terrorist financing organization.
