From Grace on Arte: Will there be a second season?

De Grace Season 1 ends tonight on Arte at 8:55 PM. In the first part of the evening (three episodes will be broadcast), Jean decides to confide in Emma after new discoveries linking their father to Joey’s relationship. The lawyer then alerts the police to disrupt the activities of the underground network.

Laurence, on the other hand, tries to find out more about Christophe’s return to Le Havre. Meanwhile, despite all the warnings he has received, Simon continues to go to the city to visit Naval and Samir, with Kamel’s family, now preoccupied with the misfortune of his companion. He also continues to approach the traffickers infiltrating the dockers…

Amidst the tension, De Grace’s finale (which wasn’t filmed entirely in Le Havre!) promises viewers some big surprises… which, unfortunately, won’t necessarily be good! But will the adventures of the troubled Leprie clan continue in season two?

Currently, Arte has not said anything about De Grace’s possible return for the second round of episodes…

In any case, the public found here Olivier Gourmand (Pierre), Pierre Lotin (Jean), Margot Bancillon (Emma), Astrid Wethnall (Lawrence), Philippe Rebot (Christophe), Gring (Ishan Bayar), Eliane Umuhire (Joy Umuhire), Nailia Harzoune (Naval Kharbush), Alizee Costes (Céline), Xavier Beauvois (Sébastien Prévost) and Pascoe Panayiotis (Simon).

This project for the latter was also the first experience in the dramatic register. A challenge for the young actor, who explained at the press conference to introduce the series: “I wasn’t used to playing that so I was vulnerable at the beginning of this shoot. I find that it is felt elsewhere and it serves the character. That said, I couldn’t sleep the night before shooting… I said to myself: “But why did I do it?”.

Panayiotis Pascoe continues: “Actually, it was very interesting to be in this family of actors because we were very challenging with each other. (…) We were carried by this dynamic and it gave me a lot of good. But at first it was very insecure for me.”

The rest of his performances at De Grace (and his wonderful partners) can be seen this Thursday, February 15, 2024 on Arte from 8.55pm.
