Young Lim Joo-kyung (Moon Ga-young) is extremely clumsy and does not have a good fashion sense, despite this, her friendly and charming personality are her strengths. Her problem is that her classmates do not agree with this thought at all, and choose to attack her often, with insults and pushes, due to her clumsiness and the excessive pimples on her face.
The culmination of this harassment occurs after she declares her love to the boy she was in love with, who humiliates her. Immediately afterwards, her classmates record, with a cell phone, the moment in which they make her cry, saying that they hate her. Soon after, Joo-kyung ends up changing neighborhoods and schools.
At a new educational institution, she is determined to use the power of makeup to hide all the imperfections on her face. This is because she believes that if the students at the new school see her face, she will be hated just as much as she was in the past. With this new outlet, she makes new friends.
However, one of the most wanted kids in the class – and the entire school – knows her secret and is also aware that she attempted suicide in the past after being humiliated at her old school. She hates him because of her suicide attempt, but time and their common interests will force them to grow closer and develop something beyond friendship.
