In an interview, Daniel Dae Kim, an actor who plays Fire Lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender, spoke about how he felt drawn to the role of the villain, which he compares to an evil Star Wars character.

After the success of the live-action A piece – manga Eiichiro Oda -, Netflix dared to make another adaptation from one of Nickelodeon’s main series. It will be February 22nd that the public will be able to see the live-action version of Avatar, which perhaps will make us forget the failure of M. Night Shyamalan with the film The Last Airbender.
Like any adaptation, Avatar: The Last Airbender will feature some differences from the original story, including Sokka’s humor (who has been accused of making sexist and chauvinist jokes), or the Avatar state, it won’t be that easy to reach.
