A true film buff, the Oppenheimer director recently discussed the matter with one of his distinguished peers, Denis Villeneuve. When asked about the life of the movie and the impact it could have on audiences over the years, Christopher Nolan, who has a strong opinion on fan theories, thinks that a certain style is designed to last the works. “I think science fiction is a genre that favors the long-term view.”the film director notes. “People are rewatching this kind of movie. They appreciate SF for a very long time.”
