The filming of Man with Hbiopic of Ney Matogrossostarring Jesuit Barbosa (Tattoo, Future beach), have already started and will be held in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro for the next six weeks. The film also received its first image, which opens this publication, showing part of the characterization of Jesuit like the artist.
Man with H will cover different phases of the career of Ney, from childhood, through adolescence and adulthood. The production follows a boy from humble origins who is passionate about nature, who frees himself from oppression and authority figures, breaks prejudices and becomes one of the most influential artists of his generation.
The production aims to portray the difficult relationship with his father in adolescence, the success with the group Secos e Molhados, amid the military dictatorship, the relationship with the singer Cazuza and his migration to a solo career in music.
In addition to Jesuit Barbosa, Man with H still has Jullio Reis (SOS Mulheres ao Mar 2) as Cazuza; It is Bruno Montaleone (The Good Side of Being Betrayed) as the doctor Marco de Mariapartner of Ney for 13 years.
