Corinthians presented this Tuesday (20) Igor Coronado, the tenth reinforcement of the team for the 2024 season. The midfielder, who has never played for a Brazilian club, explained his alternative trajectory in football and declared that he will work hard to justify his hiring.
– My career is going a little backwards. I started (my career) outside Brazil when I was very young, my parents left to work in England. Obviously every player aims for the maximum, however the start of my career was not easy at all. I’ve had my ups and downs and I think I’ve grown more and more in the last few years. I came here just to justify why I was hired. So feet on the ground, a lot of work, I’m not a person who talks a lot, but I’m someone who gives everything. I will try my best to justify my hiring.
Afterwards, Coronado revealed his skills on the pitch and commented that he has similar characteristics to Rodrigo Garro. However, the player has made himself available to play in multiple positions.
