The program, in its final phase, continues with open negotiations for band 1, aimed at people with incomes up to two minimum wages or registered with CadÚnico

About 40 days before the deadline, the Unroll Brazil has renegotiated a debt of R$ 35.6 billion, the Ministry of Finance announced on Monday 20th. In total, 12 million Brazilians have refinanced 17 million debts, which have been cleared of negative records, repaid in installments or paid in cash.

The data dates back to February 18th. Negotiations for band 1 remain open, aimed at people with an income of up to two minimum wages or those enrolled in the Single Enrollment in Social Programs (CadÚnico) from the federal government and debts of up to R$20 thousand.



According to the Ministry of Finance, in band 1 alone, 1.6 million people have renegotiated debts worth 9 billion reais. Debts in this category dropped to R$1.2 billion after applying the average discount of 87% through the Desenrola program.

Of the total R$1.2 billion in remaining debt, R$222.8 million was paid in cash and R$977.2 million was repaid in installments. In total, renegotiations in Band 1 involved 3.57 million contracts across financial services, electricity, retail, education, telecommunications, sanitation, corporate and other sectors.

Compared to the division by states, São Paulo has the highest volume of renegotiations in band 1. Since October last year, when refinancing in this band came into force, 400 thousand people in the state have renegotiated R$ 2.3 billion, which became at R $ 305 million.

Rio de Janeiro is the second state with the highest number of negotiations in band 1, with 181 thousand people who renegotiated R$ 1 billion, which turned into R$ 125 million. In third place is Minas Gerais, with 135 thousand people benefiting and R$ 781 million negotiated, reduced to R$ 111 million.

As for the municipalities, 30 cities represent 38% of the deals in band 1, the equivalent of 614 thousand people who saw their debt fall to R$ 468 million after the discounts.

The capital St. Paul it had the largest volume traded, R$100 million, and 130 thousand people. Then they appear Rio de Janeirowith R$52 million and 73 thousand people; BrasiliaR$31 million and 39 thousand people; Manauswith 28 million R$ and 30 thousand people, and ForceR$24 million and 34 thousand people.

Changes

Access to Desenrola Brasil also began on Thursday 15th through the Serasa Limpa Nome website. With the integration between the platforms, users who are logged in to the Serasa platform can now be redirected to the Desenrola site, where they can check debts and make payments under the conditions of the program, without needing another login.

From January 29, people with a Bronze profile on the Gov.br Portal can pay their debts in installments on Desenrola. Previously, those who had an account at this level, which has less security, could only settle the negotiated amount in cash. With the change, the percentage of users with bronze level access increased from 19% to 40% of daily trades.

To access the renegotiation platform, available at this linkthe consumer must be registered on the Gov.br Portal and have updated registration data.

Inside the platform, under “My debts”, there will be all the debts that are part of the program. There the debtor will find renegotiation options with payment options and discounts already established. You can select more than one debt at the same time.

Subsequently, the debtor will be able to choose the financing bank and the expiry date of the first installment or cash payment. A simulator carries out the comparison to choose the best proposal. After confirming the data, the proposal information will be sent to the bank for analysis.

The financial institution will be able to contact you via phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp and the approval will be available on the platform for the renegotiation to proceed.
