Gladiator 2: Film budget could exceed US$300 million

Sources reported that the film is facing management problems, despite Paramount reporting that the costs did not exceed US$250 million. “It’s an escape for them,” said a source.

According to the publication, part of this increase in values ​​was due to the 2023 strikes, which reportedly cost around US$600,000 per week of strikes, totaling US$10 million until production was fully resumed in December.

The cast of Gladiator 2 features great actors like Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Denzel Washington, Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascalin addition to the return of Connie Nielsenwho played Lucilla in the original film.
