Real’s victory only came towards the end of the match and the home team had difficulty creating offensive situations
Real Madrid scored 1-0 at Sevilla this Sunday (25th), in a match valid for round 26 of the Spanish championship. The clash took place at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium and the home team had a lot of difficulty creating attacking moves. The goal came from the feet of Luka Modric.
With this result, Real remained at the top of the table, with 65 points, while Sevilla is 15th, with 24 points. In the next round, the Whites will visit Valencia on Saturday (2/3) at 5pm Brasilia time. The red team hosts Real Sociedad, the same day, at 10am.
THE GAME
The match started with Sevilla controlling possession, while Real increased the scoring to try to steal in the offensive field.

Afterwards, the match cooled down and the teams found it difficult to repel their attacks. The initial proposal, to dominate ball possession, remained active and the two exchanged passes without too many dangers. In the 33rd minute, the visitors called for a penalty when Isaac went down after colliding with Vasquez, but they fell on deaf ears. Nothing to score.

The clock is already at 46′ when Valverde releases the bomb from afar and forces Nyland to make a good save to guarantee the equaliser.
The teams entered the dressing room with 0-0 on the scoreboard and needed to improve a lot to get the three points this Sunday.
