It was something I had to do.”he confided.
“I didn’t know I was going to quit acting until I did Phantom Thread. I know that Paul Thomas Anderson and I laughed a lot before we did the movie. And then we stopped laughing because we were disappointed. Sadness. We were very surprised: we didn’t realize what we were born into. Quite Life was hard and it still is.”he revealed.
At the moment, Daniel Day-Lewis is not attached to any projects, respecting his decision not to return to the big screen. However, a recent event may have fueled rumors of a possible comeback.
