Thibault makes a big decision
After falling ill the day before, Iris wakes up in the hospital. Mark is at her bedside. As she passed out in front of Thibaut, Marc told her all about her illness, the transplant, and the fact that she was a compatible donor. After everything he’s done to her, Iris doubts her son wants to help her. Mark believes that the choice is up to Thibaut, especially since it is impossible to find another donor in time.
Teissier summons Thibault to the institute. The young man says that he is going to go back to class. However, he hesitates to accept the transplant and asks the director for his opinion. Teissier replies that he owes Iris nothing, but deep down he loves her. First, Teissier invites him to think about his ability to live with the guilt of being able to save her.
Meanwhile, Jasmine advises Jim to spend as much time as possible with his mother, while feeling completely useless compared to Thibaut. He agrees to find his mother on the condition that Jasmine follows him.
The couple goes to Thibaut’s godfather’s house, where Mark is taking care of Iris, who has asked to be released from the hospital. In fact, he still thinks that Thibault will refuse the transplant and prefer to end his days in familiar surroundings. At the same time, Tibo arrives. There is a slight discomfort. Iris offers us to sit at the table.
Jasmine decides to leave the Leroys with her family and avoids kissing Jimmy in front of Thibaut. For their part, Iris and Mark hope that their children will succeed in their reconciliation. Thibault notices that his parents are very close. Mark especially apologizes to his ex for keeping him away from the boys. As everyone sits down at the table, Thibault announces that he agrees to the transplant.
An overjoyed Jimmy meets Jasmine at her roommate to inform her that the surgery will take place on Friday morning. Jimmy realizes that his brother really wants to make things right with everyone. It feels like they found each other. However, when Jimmy finds Thibaut a little later to thank him for the gesture, the latter is cold towards him. He replies that he doesn’t consider him his brother anymore because he didn’t break up with Jasmine because she asked him to…
Antoine takes on a new student
At the gates of the institute, a crowd of young people rushes to get interviews for a four-week immersion course organized by Antoine. Upon seeing them, Clotilde declares that it is a mistake. However, one of the candidates is not going to give up. He calls Penelope to ask for directions to the administration office.
On his way out of the office, Antoine meets Clotilde and asks where the immersion course candidates are. The boss replies that he sent them home. At the same time, Penelope interrupts them to introduce one of the candidates, Ian. As Clotilda leaves, a young man introduces himself, clearly very motivated. If Antoine wants to postpone the interview, Ian insists that it be scheduled. Penelope pleads in her favor.
Therefore, Antoine interviews all the candidates, including Ian. Waiting for the results, he waits in the corridor and receives encouragement from Penelope. When Antoine takes him to his office, Ian asks Penelope to come too. Antoine then announces to Ian that he has been selected for the internship. He stresses that it’s not official yet, as he has to confirm with the teaching team, but he reassures. Ian thanks Antoine and Penelope, who he thinks are a couple. Both explain the misunderstanding.
Judy doesn’t let Mateo go
On the grounds of the Institute, Lionel and Judy consider a student to provide lunch service at Chez Léonine. After receiving several rejections, they turn to Vic. Convinced of their concept, he accepts.
At Leonine, Lionel and Jude observe how Mateo manages the service. The latter is unpleasant with Vic and makes several mistakes in the kitchen. For example, he puts a dropped sausage back on a plate or removes nuts from a salad that a customer sent back because he said he was allergic to nuts.
Service is getting worse. Matteo blames Vic, who decides to leave the scene. Jude tells Matthew that it is time to announce the end of the ministry. As the manager is incapacitated, Judy takes care of him in his place.
Feeling humiliated, Mateo leaves. Judy catches up to him. He admits that he thinks he’s a big idiot, but he clearly sees that he can dedicate his entire restaurant to it. He says he wants to keep the spirit of Chez Leonini, but reveals to Matteo that he must trust them and overcome his prejudices. Mateo finally accepts her help.
