Thursday, February 29, tomorrow belongs to us…
Damien and Roxanne lead the way
The day before, Damien had sneaked into Laurie’s house to search for evidence that would exonerate Jordan.
He took hold of the notebook and analyzes it in the police station. Roxanne surprises him. Damien informs him that the notebook contains a list of jewels stolen by Albany. This seems to prove that they were accomplices. Roxanne agrees to help her colleague explore this avenue on the condition that she stays within procedure.
Meanwhile, Jordan leaves the hospital accompanied by a policeman. He meets his mother in the hall. Thanks to Mariana’s insistence, Audrey manages to hold her son for a few minutes and promises to get through it. Back in prison, Jordan finds his cellmate, with whom he plays cards.
At the police station, Roxanne confirms to Damien that Albany and Lore were accomplices. He deciphered the lists in a notebook by looking up credit card codes that belonged to hospital patients. Generally, Albany and Lorre aimed for vulnerable and isolated elderly characters. But that’s not enough to justify Jordan. Roxanne wants to convince one of the victims to file a complaint against Lori to request a writ of habeas corpus. Damien, in turn, puts the notebook back where he found it.
Thanks to her research, Roxanne ends up contacting the Kovac family. In the evening, he meets John and Bastien at the spoon. They explain that Bastien’s grandmother, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, is really very close to Laurie, and that after she was taken to the hospital, they noticed that she no longer wears jewelry. Bastien also has a selfie of Lori and her grandmother, which he shows to Roxanne.
Damien, on the other hand, carefully returns to Lori’s house to return the notebook to its place. But he is caught in the act by Lor, who has just returned home…
Violet confronts Lilu
On the way to school, Bastien admits to Diego that he was embarrassed when Lilu and Liam kissed the other day. But he prefers to move on. There he sees Lilu and Liam arriving together holding hands. As Liam enters the building, Lilu stops to talk to Bastien. They discuss their musical tastes. Lilu gives him her number so they can send each other playlists.
For her part, Violet rereads the letter she wrote to Jordan to express her support and put their latest headache behind them. Charles joins her and his gesture is very endearing. He hugs her and reassures her about Jordan finally getting out of jail.
At the high school, Lilu asks Jack and Liz about Jordan. He believes she is innocent and is with them wholeheartedly. As for Violet, she finds Bastien listening to Lilu’s playlist. Violet suggests breaking up with him. Bastien confirms that he will because Lilu is now in a relationship with Liam. Violet is shocked.
Later in the day, Violet confronts Lilu and accuses her of playing with Bastien’s feelings when she is already dating Liam. Lilu replies that Violet is just jealous.
Kristel worries about her finances
Annoyed that Sylvain keeps buying junk, Christel decides to have a real talk with him about their lifestyle. She thinks they consume too much. However, she emphasizes that she has a professional activity and advises her husband to do the same.
Sylvain complains to Alex and Bruno about his wife’s new fashion. He has no complexes that he does not work. At the hospital, Christel asks Mariana if Sylvain could become a stretcher. Instead, Mariana thinks she should pursue a hobby or other activity that suits her better than a job.
In the evening, Sylvain and Christel meet again. Seeing that her husband prepared an aperitif with an expensive bottle, she insists that they cannot continue as before. Sylvain agrees to think more seriously about finding a job this time.
