The first part, released in December, will receive a new version with an hour of additional scenes, as will the sequel, which premieres in April
Zack Snyder is preparing to release an extended version of Rebel Moon – Part 1: The Fire Girlhis most recent film for Netflix, and revealed, in an interview with I Minutemen [via ComicBook.com]which is already scheduled to release it on the streaming platform.
“We don’t have a date yet, but I think it will be in the summer [americano, entre junho e agosto]”, delivered the filmmaker. In the conversation, Snyder even said that so much The Fire Girl as the still unpublished The Scar Markerwill gain new versions, with around an hour of additional material, totaling six hours in length:
“It will be interesting because you will be able to see… So, they are an hour longer than the original, in addition to being for adults, […] so it will be cool to see the six hours together”added the director.
Rebel Moon tells the story of an intergalactic colony threatened by a tyrannical ruler. Due to the conflict, a desperate group sends a young girl with a mysterious past on a search for warriors from neighboring planets to help them defeat the villain, bringing together insurgents, displaced people, peasants and war orphans from various worlds for a battle for the fate of a galaxy.
The film stars Sofia Boutella (Climax), Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs), Ray Fisher (Justice League), Djimon Hounsou (Shazam! Gods Fury), Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy), Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House), Jena Malone (Sucker Punch: Surreal World) It is Ed Skrein (Deadpool).
Stuart Martin (Army of the Dead: Las Vegas Invasion), Alfonso Herrera (Ozarks), Doona Bae (Sense8), Cary Elwes (Deadly Games), Cleopatra Coleman (Infinity Pool), Corey Stoll (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Dominic Burgess (Feud), Fra Fee (Archer hawk), Staz Nair (Supergirl) It is E. Duffy (Acid Noir) complete the cast.
