Archer has extended his contract until the end of the season
Bahia have announced the renewal of the contract with goalkeeper Adriel, who arrived at the club this season, on loan at Grêmio, until then the Italian archer had a contract until July this year.
However, since there was little time to decide whether to buy the athlete or not, Bahia decided to negotiate with Imortal to extend his loan contract until the end of the 2023 season.
Until then, the goalkeeper played the matches of the Bahia Championship, having satisfied the team commander and former goalkeeper Rogério Ceni with his performances.
One of the clauses of the goalkeeper’s contract provides that if he plays more than 50% of Bahia’s matches this season, Tricolor de Aço will be able to activate the option to purchase the athlete, worth 3.5 million dollars (17.3 million R$), according to information from journalist Darino Sena.
Until arriving in Bahia, goalkeeper Adriel received requests from European football clubs, including Dutch giant PSV, as well as Portuguese club Estoril Praia.
