The resident is over! Will you miss Matt Church? Find an actor in a completely different TV series

Last Wednesday, TF1 aired the final four episodes of the sixth and final season of The Resident, its hospital series hosted by Matt Czuchry, Manish Dayal and Bruce Greenwood.

If the adventures of the doctors of Atlanta’s Chastain Hospital are ending after six seasons and 107 episodes, it is primarily for reasons of the audience. American public interest in the series has waned over the years.

But if you’re one of those series fans who’s disappointed that you can no longer admire Dr. Conrad Hawkins on screen every week, know that actor Matt Cuchry, previously seen in Gilmore Girls and The Good Wife, hasn’t been idle after that. The Resident cut short after he found work joining the cast of the ultra-popular horror series.

Matt Cuchry stars in Season 12 of American Horror Story!

Starting September 20, 2023, Matt Cuchry stars in one of the main roles in American Horror Story: the twelfth season of the slick, successful anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Alongside series regular Emma Roberts, who has been credited for several seasons, she lends her chops to Dexter “Dex” Harding, the husband of Anna Victoria Alcott, a popular actress who pursues desire after several failed attempts at in vitro fertilization. Only one thing: creating a family. But as the buzz around her latest film grows, Anna fears that something – or someone – is after her and sets her sights on motherhood.

A very different role, because it’s darker and more ambiguous, for Matt Church, who thus explores a new register and joins the great family of American horror history. As is Kim Kardashian, brilliant as Siobhan Corbin, Anna’s agent, who is also one of the main cast members in this twelfth salvo, alongside Annabelle Dexter-Jones, MJ Rodriguez, Denis O’Hare and Cara Delevingne.

Where can I watch American Horror Story: Delicate France?

Based on the book written by Hallie Pfeiffer delicate condition By Daniel Valentine, Season 12 of American Horror Story is scheduled to air on Canal+ in France starting September 22, 2023, following the American broadcast.

Unfortunately, only five episodes were offered both in the US and here due to the writers and actors strike that paralyzed Hollywood last year and halted production on the series.

Since then, American Horror Story: Delicacy has resumed production in New York, and the final four episodes (of a total of nine) will air in April on FX across the Atlantic and the Canal+ series in France.
