Eliot makes a deal with Bernier
Eve calls Elliot in Muriel’s presence. The young man tells them that he is going to see Bernier. Muriel is worried, wondering if the prosecutor’s arrest of Elliot is a trap. Eve tries to calm her daughter-in-law. She is convinced that Bernier needs Eliot.
Eliot finds Bernier at the stadium and informs him that he wants to end his running and give his son a future. To achieve this, he convinces the prosecutor that he is ready to work for him again. Bernier then tells him about Fertilizer Plus and the current case. He explains to him that William Challon is supported by the firm BGL and the Environmental Association, which has launched a smear campaign against Fertilizer Plus. So the prosecutor wants Elliott to be hired as a seasonal worker at Chalon’s farm to find out who is behind this destabilization.
Bernier then adds that Eliot will not be able to connect with the people he loves during this novel. Elliot insists that he wants to speak with his wife one last time before the mission and, when the time comes, to witness the birth of their child. Eva’s son also asks the prosecutor to undertake to say that he asked for this penetration and that at the end of this penetration he will be pardoned. Bernier gives him his word, but Eliot wants written evidence to prove these precise points. Bernier then promises him that he will have the document as soon as he completes his mission.
Back at the courthouse, Bernier informs Judge Alphand that he agrees to begin a preliminary investigation into William Challon’s claim against Fertilizer Plus.
Elliot, on the other hand, finds Muriel and tells her that he will have to cut ties with her for the duration of the mission. She can’t tell anyone else about what Bernier is asking, but promises not to let her give birth on her own. Elliot takes Muriel by the hand and asks her to be patient.
In the evening, Claudine tells Elodie and Ludo that the prosecutor will start a preliminary investigation against the Engrais Plus company. William’s appeal will therefore be reconsidered. The wait is relieved. Claudine is still suspicious: she finds Bernier’s change unexpected and surprising. It is hiding something for him. He adds that when Bernier is against the wall, he can be great.
In turn, Bernier finds Patrice Bienvenue, the boss of Engrais Plus, at his home. She swears to him that everything is under control and that by opening this investigation we will not be able to suspect their conspiracy. Bernier then reminds his friend that he has nothing to complain about and that he can relax. He then informs her that he has hired someone to learn about the plaintiffs’ strategy. He promises that he is a reliable person and thanks to him they will always be one step ahead. So they are calm. Patrice replies that he hopes so, because otherwise he won’t be the only one to fall.
Florrie ends her story with Louis
Flor discovers the truth about Louis and decides to end their affair. He explains to his lover that if he had known she was only 18 and still in high school, he would never have hit her. Louis tries to change his mind, he tells her his feelings, which unfortunately is not shared by Flor, who hands him his coat and asks him to leave.
Once in high school, Louis tells Robin that his new girlfriend has dumped him. Robin tries to get her best friend to understand that the age difference between her and Flor still complicates things. But Louis doesn’t care. He claims that he was in love with her. At the same time, Kira, who has made sure that she is back in class, walks past the boys without even looking at them.
Louis meets Kira in the school hallway to apologize. He blames himself for her pain. Kira, unable to forgive him, sends her away.
Later, while talking to Robin, Tiago learns that Louis has been left by his new girlfriend, who is 35 years old. Robin admits that she’s never met him, but clarifies that all she knows is that he’s a visual artist. Tiago then realizes that it is his mother.
Back at the roommate, Tiago confronts Flor asking if he was the man Louis slept with. His mother looks down. Tiago scolds her for having an affair with a boy from her high school, but Flor swears she didn’t know. He explains to his son that Louis told him that he was a history student.
While Leonor and Mark are cooking, Louis comes home looking sad. Leonor holds him, she tells him she’s happy he’s there. Louis tells them he has no reason to be anywhere else, then decides to go straight to bed. Mark and Leonor, who have learned that their son’s love story is over, then tell themselves that they will have to support him.
