Velocity NITRO 3 and Fast-R 2 NITRO Elite arrive with technological upgrades, while the rest of the NITRO? gets new colors
Traditionally, March is the month with the highest number of road running shoe launches. Now it’s the turn of Puma, a German brand, which is expanding the Nitro family. Highlights of the new dripThe Velocity NITRO 3 and Fast-R 2 NITRO Elite, pictured below, feature innovations in their technologies, while family favorites like the Deviate NITRO 2 and Deviate NITRO Elite 2 arrive in new colors.
The launches continue PUMA’s “Run with NITRO” campaign, which encourages running by offering products suited to different types of runners. NITRO cushioning technology involves the infusion of nitrogen through a process that combines three benefits for the user: responsiveness, cushioning and extreme lightness, for a more pleasant ride. Each model in the family uses technology differently, with personalized benefits for each runner, whether beginner, intermediate or expert.
OR Veloce-R 2 NITRO Elite it is the most innovative racing shoe ever created by PUMA. Built specifically to beat personal records, the model uses improved NITRO Elite technology, with a thickness of 40 mm between the sole and the foot (height of the chimney), the maximum allowed in official competitions. Compared to its predecessor, the new Fast-R 2 NITRO Elite allows for 22% greater energy storage, as well as 46% more raw energy return, resulting in a lighter, more economical ride. Its midsole divided into two parts, with the exposed carbon plate (PWRPLATE), remains a unique feature of the shoe. In the model, the plate extends across the entire midsole, passing through the toe, allowing greater contact with the ground, a real lever that pushes the runner forward.
Designed for runners looking for a perfect companion for daily training, the NITRO 3 speed, photo below, features a 2mm more NITRO midsole than its predecessor, providing even greater cushioning. The breathable mesh upper is lined with PWRTAPE technology, which offers increased support and structure in key areas of the foot.
The new Fast-R 2 NITRO Elite and Velocity NITRO 3 are available for R$ 1,999.90 and R$ 899.90 respectively. Rounding out the NITRO family are new colors of the Deviate NITRO 2, Deviate NITRO Elite 2, ForeverRun NITRO, Magnify NITRO 2, Electrify NITRO 3 and Fast-FWD NITRO Elite, with prices starting at R$599.90. The models are available at PUMA, in the PUMA Morumbi Shopping and Shopping Metrô Tatuapé stores and in partner stores such as Netshoes, Centauro, Velocita, Running Land, Casa Lebre.
