With Samuel Xavier and André absent, the commander decided to place Guga and Renato Augusto in their respective vacant positions.
In this way the team takes the field with Fábio; Guga, Thiago Santos, Felipe Melo and Diogo Barbosa; Martinelli, Renato Augusto and Paulo Henrique Ganso; Jhon Arias, Keno and Germán Cano.
Fourth place in the Guanabara Cup, Fluminense starts the semi-final trailing against Flamengo, holders of the best championship. In case of a tie in the overall score of the two matches, the place goes to Rubro-Negro.
