The departure of the showrunner

If Taylor Sheridan is the creator of the series, and Terence Winter was the showrunner. He also wrote the screenplay for Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.

However, due to “creative differences” with Sheridan, Winter ended his tenure as showrunner in February 2023. The search for a new lead role had begun while he would remain as an executive producer. However, details later revealed that Winter was fired by Sheridan due to differences in writing style, with Sheridan saying he preferred Winter’s “character-driven stories” over Winter’s “character-driven stories” (via The Hollywood Reporter ).

Return of the showrunner… in a different position

But the twist: Terence Winter Will eventually return for season two as a writer. This means that he will no longer work closely with Sheridan, but will continue to contribute to the writing of the episodes. At the same time, he remains a friend Sylvester StalloneAlso the producer of the series.
