This Sunday the biggest cinema awards are held (10). The 2024 Oscars ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The 96th edition of the event comes after the Barbenheimer phenomenon. Barbie and Oppenheimer were released on the same day: July 20, 2023, sending box offices skyrocketing around the world.
Where to look
Presented by comedian Jimmy Kimmel, the awards ceremony will be broadcast on pay TV, on TNT, and in streaming, on Max, starting from 8pm (Brasilia time). Shortly before, starting at 7pm, the red carpet heats up for the Oscars.
In 2024, as happened last year, the awards ceremony will not be broadcast live on TV.
