According to an analysis by Collider, Pinhead, from the Hellraiser series, is the deadliest killer in horror films, with over 321 victims.
Pinhead is one of cinema’s most sadistic horror characters, who feeds on blood and human suffering. He is the leader of the Cenobites, a kind of infernal priests who subject their victims to emotional and psychological torture.
The character was created by the author Clive Barker in 1986 and had its first film adaptation Hellraiser – Reborn from Hellfrom 1987, directed by Barker and featuring Douglas Bradley as Pinhead. Unlike Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees, he was not a slasher killer in the first two films, but this changed in the franchise from the third film onwards to accompany slashers like Halloween AND Friday 13th.
