On Wednesday 13 March in a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Nothing goes well between Blanche and Luna
While walking in the Mistral district, Blanche meets Luna and Maxime holding hands. Blanche takes the opportunity to ask him why he failed her yesterday. Maxime answers in Luna’s place and says: “He needs to rest.”
Blanche says that’s a bit harsh and asks Luna if she can talk to him in private. But the latter answers in an aggressive tone: “I am not at your disposal”.
A few minutes later, Luna tells Maxime that she blames herself for speaking badly to Blanche. The latter replies that he was right to do so, because he is sure that he is jealous of their relationship. Luna asks why he thinks that, and Maxime states that Blanche invited him to the restaurant a few days ago. Luna is surprised.
By inventing this lie, Maxime hopes for only one thing: that Luna gets away from Blanche. And with good reason, he fears that this woman will thwart his plans.
Ariane and Zoe returned to Mistral
Ariane and Zoe just returned from a trip to Costa Rica. Mutual understanding between mother and child is in good shape. Zoë takes the opportunity to tell her mother that she agrees to take lessons with Blanche. This statement makes Ariane happy.
Opening Zoe’s suitcase, Ariane comes face to face with a letter that the young woman wrote to Louis Robb. He immediately hides it in his pants pocket.
Later, Zoe finds Blanche at Le Mistral bar. He shows her photos of his trip, then tells her he’s willing to study with her. Blanche is delighted. He warns the teenager that he needs a lot of personal information to prepare his file. After asking Zoe a few questions, she realizes that March 15th is her birthday.
A few minutes later, Ariane meets Eric while having coffee. The policeman explains to her that he read the letter and found that Zoe can’t stop thinking about Louis. That’s not all, he adds, Zoe never talks about him. Eric tries to calm her down and advises her to prepare a wonderful birthday party for her daughter.
Back home, Ariane discovers that Zoe has found a letter hidden in her closet. The teenager is angry with his mother and asks for an explanation. Ariane says: “I was afraid you wanted to leave.”. Zoe replies: “How do you expect me to believe you, you destroy everything.”
Who is the woman found dead?
At the Mistral police station, Meilin informs Jean-Paul and Samuel that the prosecutor will open an investigation into the murder. However, the commissioner questions how the two policemen did it. Samuel and Jean-Paul reply that it is thanks to Patrick. He makes a video call to the cop to tell the boss about his entire investigation.
Patrick attends the meeting via computer. Meilin, Samuel and Jean-Paul discuss the screw found in the van. In the apartment, Leah approaches the computer and explains to the three policemen that titanium screws are often used in surgery. Meilin thanks Jean-Paul’s wife for this important information.
After a few minutes, Patrick thought he could go back to work. Babette surprises him by standing without crutches, which he does not like at all. She refuses to allow her husband to leave the house because her recovery is not complete. She manages to change his mind.
At the Mistral police station, Samuel informs Jean-Paul that he has just received the results of the screw found in the van. This is a screw for a hip replacement and it comes from the University Hospital of Bordeaux.
The victim’s name was Martin Catherine Dominique Maile. It was the sister of Florence Maillet, the woman who drowned three years ago… and who was none other than Maxime’s wife.
