From 9am this Tuesday (12), the Programme Income tax 2024 it will be available to anyone who wants to start filling out their declaration.
Originally scheduled for March 15, Federal Revenue announced that taxpayers would have early access. OR deadline for submitting the IR declaration remains the same, from this Friday (15th) until May 31st.
Through the federal government platform (gov.br), Gold or Silver level taxpayers will now be able to view and complete the document with the pre-compiled declaration.
However, it is worth paying attention as the actual delivery of the declaration will only take place starting from Friday (15th).
According to the national supervisor of the income tax program, the tax auditor José Carlos Fonseca, the anticipation of access to Income Tax Schedule gives the taxpayer the opportunity to verify the necessary information and, if necessary, search for other documentation that may be necessary.
2024 tax return
For fill out the tax returnthere are three possible ways
- Through the declaration generation program, downloadable from 9.00 am on March 12th;
- Through the My Income Tax website;
- Through the My Income Tax app.
All platforms will be updated with the 2024 version of the declaration, and taxpayers can opt for the pre-filled declaration, accessible through the Gov.br account. To use this version, you must have a Silver or Gold trust level on the site.
New federal revenue digital services portal
For this year, the IRS has launched a new Digital services portal, which brings together all the information, certificates and digital processes of natural and legal persons, both from Simples Nacional and MEI (Individual Microentrepreneur).
The platform will be implemented in phases and, in its final phase, will replace the current Virtual Service Center, the e-CAC portal. The e-CAC will continue to function normally until all services are adapted to the technology of the new Service Portal.
In this first phase, the new portal will function as an aggregator of systems, presenting a map of all digital services, organized by segments of interest such as “Citizen”, “Business Manager”, “Aziende dei Semplici Nacional”, “MEI” and others.
