For several weeks Barbara (Lea François) and Abdel (Marwan Beren) were at the center of the intrigue of Plus belle la vie. In search of true love, the young woman fell under the spell of Tim, a freelance journalist, who was shot in front of her while performing youths using a park drone.
Considering the accident suspicious, Barbara persuaded Tim to file a lawsuit against BTC, one of the largest construction companies in the region, after a young woman saw the company logo on the van that struck her. He asked Abdel to represent his new friend.
But during a meeting with an opposing party lawyer, the lawyer met face to face with Elisa, a mysterious young woman who met him at a party. Very quickly, two young lawyers became a couple.
Despite the seemingly idyllic relationship, the lawyer is convinced that Vincent Marceau, Elisa’s father, had something to do with Tim’s accident and that he certainly knows more than he does about the corpse found on the BTC site.
But the young woman, convinced of her father’s innocence, decides to end their relationship. Still, Abdel thinks he is not as innocent as he thinks he is. In the next episodes of Plus belle la vie, Barbara and she will make a new discovery that will turn the life of a young man upside down.
After falling into a trap set by Vincent Marceau last night, Abdel will try to convince Eli that his father is involved in a vague business. He then asks her to allow him to inspect his father’s belongings.
The young lawyer also asks his father, Karim, to help him climb the Marceau chain, thanks to one of his old contacts, but he prefers to give up and insists he does not want to dive into the environment business again.
Alice, in turn, witnesses a strange conversation between her father and a mysterious interlocutor. As soon as his father is gone, he goes to watch the tablet and Abdel informs him that the businessman has a meeting with this stranger to make a deal on top of the building.
In the excerpt from the episode Plus belle la vie, which airs this Friday, July 1, Abdel and Barbara make the most shocking discovery. It is while watching the video of Vincent and the mysterious man recorded by Tim that they notice that the interlocutor of the businessman is none other than Karim, Abdel’s father.
So it was he who threatened to break into Barbara’s house and apparently tried to overthrow them a few days earlier. Astonished, Abdel asks Tim to keep the video to himself until he thinks about what he is going to do.
