$6 billion: This iconic fantasy saga could be rebooted with Scarlett Johansson

After Gareth Edwards (creator, Rogue One, Godzilla) arrives to direct the new film in the Jurassic World saga, the famous actor will soon face dinosaurs! According to an insider Jeff SnyderScarlett Johansson has indeed been offered the lead role in the new Jurassic World movie.

After Kate Shortland’s feature film (released in 2021), in which she passed the torch to Florence Pugh, Scarlett Johansson has joined the cast of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City. He’ll soon be seen on the poster for Kristin Scott Thomas’ North Star, he’ll be cast in Greg Berlanti’s comedy Project Artemis starting July 10, and he’s got several projects lined up, including Featherwood’s Andrea Arnold and Bride’s Sebastian Lelio.

What will the new Jurassic World be about?

We still don’t know what the story of this new Jurassic World will be, but we already know that David Koepp, who is already working on Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, is writing the script. Announced in our theaters on July 2, 2025, the feature film is set to shoot this summer.
