‘I jumped a bit and got angry’: Manon Azem (Nora) recounts the physical shooting of Mercato’s plane scene on TF1

Thursday, March 14, 2024, TF1 invites its viewers to discover the new police series Mercato from 9:10 p.m. In this new fiction, Arnaud Ducré slips into the role of Thomas (the actor spoke to AlloCiné about the project), a Parisian police officer who is transferred to Marseille after making a huge mistake in the field. In the city of Marseille, he must team up with Nora, a hot-tempered cop with a strong temper…

“We actually got on a plane that took off!”

The latter is played by Manon Azem. The actor also spoke with AlloCiné to recap the whole experience. On our mic, he also recalled the physical filming of the airplane scene featured at the end of Mercato Season 1, Episode 2 (in which Fove Hoto was also seen and praised by his co-stars).

Thus, Nora Kader’s translator enthusiastically told us: “We actually ran behind a moving plane and actually got into a plane that took off! It was cool! During one of the takes, we even did a stunt so well that everyone said, “Okay, let’s speed up the plane a little bit…”

Manon Azemi tells about filming the airplane scene in “Mercato”.

And there, it was much more dangerous because I felt the suction from the plane that was moving forward.Manon Azem explains. I got up a bit and got angry, but I managed to board the plane. I turned around and the cameraman who was following us fell to the ground with the camera on the ground!” But for a convincing result on the screen!

In the next installment of Mercato next week, Thomas reunites with his son and daughter for the weekend. Children who are not very happy to be in Marseille are bored. But the action doesn’t last long as the crowd panics on the beach. The diver’s body came to the surface!

According to the first elements of the investigation, the case concerns a young history student Matias. The investigators decide to question his history teacher, the last person to text him before his death. Although saddened by the young man’s death, she is more attached to the treasure she found while searching the sea…

Mercato You can watch it next week, Thursday 21st March from 21:10 on TF1.
