Apparently, the wait to finally check it out Sonic 3 it’s finishing. According to James Marsden, the protagonist of the franchise, filming has already concluded, with the premiere confirmed for December 20, 2024.
Together, Sonic2020 and Sonic 2: The Movie, as of 2022, has grossed more than $700 million globally. The new film is part of Paramount’s ambitious plan for the Sonic the Hedgehog “cinematic universe,” which includes, in addition to the third sequel, a Knuckles-focused TV series for Paramount+, with Idris Elba returning to voice the character.
In the latest updates, the spin-off series Knuckles I got the first trailer and release date (see here). The six-episode production will arrive on Paramount+ on April 26 in the United States and Canada, to be made available globally the following day.
Sonic AND Sonic 2 are available on Paramount+, Prime Video and Apple TV (some for rental). In the case of the sequel released in 2022, it is also included in the Netflix catalog.
