Blink-182 is already in Argentina, where they will perform at Lollapalooza in Buenos Aires this Friday (15). While passing through the capital, Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus took the opportunity to visit Malba – Museum of Latin American Art in Buenos Aires and see some works, including the very Brazilian Abaporu, by Tarsila do Amaral.

In the photos, shared on social media, Hoppus and De Longe appear in front of some important pieces of Latin American culture. In addition to the painting Abaporu, a classic by Tarsila do Amaral painted in 1928, Hoppus and DeLonge also posed next to The Impossible (1945), by Minas Gerais artist Maria Martins.

Blink-182 in South America

Blink-182 inaugurated the series of shows scheduled in South America. The group arrived in Peru and made their first performance in the country this Tuesday, the 12th.

With this, the performance at Lollapalooza Brasil, which takes place on March 22nd, seems increasingly real. In 2023, the band canceled their show in the country after Travis Barker broke a finger. The drummer even stated that he would cancel the 2024 performance, after a joke from a Brazilian user.

At the Peruvian show, songs from the band’s new album — ONE MORE TIME… (2023) — appeared on the setlist, as well as the hits; check out:
