HPI Season 4: We’ve seen the first episodes of Series Mania… and it’s changing!

Morgan Alvaro is preparing to return to TF1. On May 16, PAF’s craziest consultant is sure to return for HPI Season 4, which promises to be full of surprises.

And as in previous years, the public of the Series Mania festival, currently taking place in Lille this Saturday, March 16, was able to discover the first two episodes of this fourth new batch in a preview.

Who is the father of Morgan’s baby?

In the season 3 finale of HPI, Audrey Flerot’s character was shocked to learn that she was several months pregnant. Good news that isn’t really news because Morgan has no idea who the baby’s father is.

In fact, Red Tornado slept with three different people during season 3: Timothy (Jeremy Levine), a new arrival at the police department, David (Dudu Masta), one of the suspects in the investigation led by Morgan and his gang, and Karadek (Mehdi Nebibu), with whom he shared a night of love under the influence of LSD. So HPI Season 4 will try to answer that, to say the least.

And if the audience is waiting for an answer in the first few minutes, they will have to be patient, because the writers decided to play on our nerves by extending the suspense.

In the first two episodes of HPI Season 4, Morgan still has no idea who the father is, even though he’s convinced the baby is Karadek’s. How will he tell her? And how will he take the news? The first two episodes still leave these two questions unanswered.

The season is as original as ever

It’s in a scene that includes all the codas of the 80s American family series that opens in Season 4 of HPI. Opening Sequence That Sets the Tone: The writers aren’t done playing with genre codes, as they were able to do with the video game-inspired episode during Season 3.

Overall, this season opener matches what the writers were able to offer in the first three bursts of episodes. A well-crafted punchline, Morgan’s incredible look, the investigation in full swing…all the ingredients come together to make for a good time.

And if we could be afraid that after 4 seasons, HPI would start going in circles, the authors manage to renew themselves, offering us investigations that are still unusual, and situations between Karadek and Morgan that are still as funny.

A newcomer who will turn everything upside down

If Morgan, Karadek, Gilles (Bruno Sanchez), Celine (Marie Denarno) and Daphne (Béranger McNeese) return for Season 4, the police department will have to make way for a new recruit who will sow discord among the team.

A true free spirit, this character, played by Thomas Shimeka, seen in the TV series Les Grands or Bêtes blondes, will clash with Karadek’s uncompromising strictness.

Without saying too much, his arrival is a major change that won’t please everyone. Will he be able to find a place in the team? Answer in Season 4 of HPI, which arrives next Thursday, May 16 on TF1.
