The real hit on Netflix, The Lady and the Dragon, stars Millie Bobby Brown as a young woman promised to a prince. A wedding ceremony turns into a nightmare when the bride is trapped inside the creature’s cave. Between drama and epic fantasy film, the feature film offers the actress a tough new heroine after eleven from Stranger Things.
At the end of the film, Elodi’s character manages to escape Didi and uses the dragon to get revenge on her son-in-law. While the castle is engulfed in fire and blood, a young woman finds her family and leaves in a boat accompanied by a creature that seems to follow the family to new adventures.
A more open ending?
Actress Brooke Carter, who plays Floria, Elodie’s sister, reveals that two endings were filmed and that the alternate ending opens the door to new possibilities. for the site DirectHe explains:It would be good for the audience to discover the second ending because it offers a completely different view of what could happen in the future… In the first ending, Elodie stays with us, and in the second ending, she goes alone.e.”
The actor also confirms that the script The Lady and the Dragon Has undergone many changes:The story remained the same from the beginning to the middle, but it was the ending that changed a lot. Lines were cut, others were added. When we did the filming, quite a few scenes were changed for others.”

The Netflix platform has not yet announced the development of the sequel. However, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo said during the Inside Total Film podcast that he was ready for it:
“True, the world of Lady and the Dragon is quite open. Especially since, as you know, there is a new family. There is this new member in the story, I don’t have to say more, but it shows that they have new adventures to come. So, obviously, if that happens, I’d love to do it, of course.“
