Sony Pictures released the trailer for the horror film on Monday 27th The invitation. The images show the actress Nathalie Emmanuel as the protagonist of the production.
The play tells the story of Evie (Nathalie), a young woman who, after her mother’s death, undergoes a DNA test and discovers a lost cousin she didn’t know existed.
She is invited by her relatives to attend a lavish wedding and ends up being thrown into a survival nightmare as she uncovers the secrets of her family’s history.
The script is by Blair butler and the direction is Jessica M. Thompson. The film’s theatrical release is scheduled for August 26th. Watch the trailer:
