Road House Comes to Prime Video: Jake Gyllenhaal Opposites Conor McGregor in No-holds-barred Muscle Movie

Attention action movie lovers, with lots of muscle… and action! It’s time to get your hands on Road House, Doug Liman’s new film, which hits Prime Video this Thursday, March 21st. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor, this thriller promises a shocking encounter.

In Road House, Jake Gyllenhaal plays Ellwood Dalton, a former MMA champion who left the Octagon for unknown reasons. He now lives on the road in his old car and makes a few bucks appearing in underground fighting rings. His mere presence – when opponents recognize him – is enough to make them lose.

His life is turned upside down when he is taken in by Frank, the owner of a bar in Florida, where the customers have a bad habit of ending the evening in a fight. But above all, he is the target of a family of ruthless outlaws. Soon, Dalton finds himself at the center of a fierce battle for everyone’s survival, where every blow could be their last.

Conor McGregor, who makes a great debut (spoiler alert:

Buttocks in the air from his first scene) in the world of cinema plays the main antagonist, a ruthless killer determined to eliminate any obstacle in his path.

His extraordinary physique and his intensity bring a real dimension of menace to the impending showdown between him and Gyllenhaal.

Directed by Doug Liman, known for his work on hit action films like The Dead and Edge of Tomorrow, Road House promises its share of action and suspense.

In addition to Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor, there are also familiar faces from the big and small screen. Playing the daddy’s boy who makes life difficult for Frank and his establishment, Billy Magnussen, who can be seen in the latest James Bond among others, makes the perfect villain.
