The House of the Dragon | The second season will have two trailers and a premiere date


Each trailer shows one side of the war for the Iron Throne that will be shown in the series’ second season, which debuts in June

The House of the Dragonthe successful spin-off of game of Thronesarrives in June on HBO and the streaming service streaming Max, starting the war between House Targaryen and House Hightower once and for all. After publish posters with the main characters of this clash for the Iron Throne, asking fans to choose a side, HBO went further and released two trailers focusing on each side of the dispute.



The black trailer focuses on House Targaryen, showing Rhaenrya, Prince Daemon, and their army on Dragonstone preparing to fight for control of Westeros after losing the Iron Throne. The green trailer focuses on House Hightower, showing Alicent, her father Otto and her sons Prince Aemond and King Aegos, all willing to sacrifice hundreds of soldiers and innocents to remain on the throne.

 

 

The end of the first season was marked by the betrayal of Aemond, who killed Lucerys, Rhaenyra’s son, and her dragon, starting the war in Westeros. Each side sets out in search of allies, while the other houses of the kingdom unite in a conflict that will remain marked in history. One very interesting thing in the trailer is that it shows the North and the Wall, protected by the knights of the Night’s Watch.

The series gets its premiere date

The trailers also confirmed the information long awaited by fans of the series, namely the presentation of the new episodes. After it was confirmed that the new season would arrive in June, videos confirm that the first episode will be shown on June 16.

It is worth mentioning that the series will be broadcast on the cable channel HBO and also on Max, the streaming service of Warner Bros. Discovery. The second season premiere of The House of the Dragon is one of WBD’s biggest weapons to get more subscribers, mainly after the change in streaming, formerly HBO Max, and its expansion throughout Latin America.
