Brazil seeks their third Futsal Down championship in Antalya, Türkiye
The Brazilian Futsal Down Team began, this Thursday (21st), the dispute for the third World Cup in Antalya, Turkey, winning the first two games by rout. The team led by coach Cleiton Monteiro beat Mexico 7-3 and then Portugal 9-1.
The opening of the tournament took place on World Down Syndrome Day. In his debut, Renato Gregório was the highlight, scoring three goals. João Vitor scored a brace and Juan and Matheus completed the scoring.
In the second match Renato continued with his eye on goals, scoring four times. Julio scored three, João Vitor added one more and Caio closed the score.

From the results, Brazil leads the Futsal Down competition with a large lead. The final is scheduled for March 25, when the country will be able to win its third championship: it won in 2022 (Peru) and 2019 (Brazil) – in both finals it beat Argentina.
