Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Monday March 25, 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

On Monday 25 March at Un si grand soleil…

Eliot traps Prosecutor Bernier

In the morning, Eva informs Elliot that the information she gave the police is not enough to start the procedure. So Elliott will have to testify before a coroner’s office if he wants to depose Bernier. While Eva advises him to return to Abidjan to avoid prison, Elliot refuses. In fact, the young man no longer wants this life, neither for himself nor for his family. To top it all off, he asks his mother to inform Manu that she agrees to become a prisoner.

At the police station, Manu tells Commissioner Becker that Elliott has agreed to turn himself in, but he wants to see his wife and son before he comes. After receiving, the Commissioner assigns Manu to take care of the arrest.

In turn, Elliot joins Muriel in the park and says goodbye to her. Crying, Muriel begs him not to leave them. Elliott then claims that’s not the case before telling her how much he loves them more than anything. If he does all this, it is only for a better life for them. Although he understands that it’s difficult for him, Elliott adds that he and Thomas have changed him. Now he aspires to be a different person to them. As Muriel fears she will never see him again, Eliot promises that they will meet again very soon before urging her to be brave. The couple hugs for the last time after kissing. Elliot then says goodbye to his son and mother before joining Manu, who is waiting for him a short distance away.

After a while, Eve comforts Muriel by knowing that Elliott made the right choice. However, Muriel does not agree with her mother-in-law and is furious with her for forcing Elliott to agree to this deal. According to him, Thomas would have a father who would take care of him without his interference. Now she regrets trusting him. Although she is injured, Eve declares that she is there to help and vows to never give up on them. Refusing to help her, Muriel is going to fend for herself.

At the police station, Elliot tells his whole story with Bernier to Prosecutor Picard. Although he may have provided valuable assistance, Eliot still owes a debt to French justice. Therefore, he will have to serve the remainder of his sentence in addition to the escape conviction. However, Picard thinks the sentencing judge will take into account his cooperation with the police.

As for Bernier, the elements and testimony he provided are not sufficient to indict him. Therefore, the police will have to conduct an operation to incriminate him. Having agreed to help them, Elliott hopes the judge will consider his good will.

Elliott then calls Bernier. As soon as he puts it on speaker, he pretends that he buried the explosives as planned and that he doesn’t know what happened during the search. Agreeing to give him one last chance, Bernier arranges to meet him at his usual place tomorrow.

Allen takes it upon himself

Elisabeth is due to go to Zurich this weekend to sign the acquisition of the merger. When Allen reminds them that they were going to the opera on Friday, the businessman replies that he unfortunately forgot and cannot cancel this trip. Disappointment for Allen.

Elizabeth then joins Catherine for breakfast. After apologizing to him for not talking about this merger project, Elizabeth claims that she wants to keep their friendship. So Catherine asks him to postpone the merger for six months to give him time to organize himself. Although she is not sure that François will agree, Élisabeth still promises to keep her job. However, Catherine threatens to end their friendship if she does not accept this reprieve. As she takes it badly, Elizabeth gathers her things and leaves.

Distraught, Élisabeth goes to L. Cosmétiques and asks Bertier if he is a selfish and dishonest person who can destroy everyone to achieve his goals. Uncomfortable, the latter replies that he is quite the opposite. According to him, Elizabeth is a loyal, delicate and attentive boss. Words that comfort a businessman.

Meanwhile, Allen calls Clement and confides in him how fed up Elizabeth’s work was before their relationship. For Clement, he doesn’t have to worry about that.

Later, François Laumier meets the staff of L. Cosmétiques in the presence of Boris. Despite his well-delivered speech, employees remain suspicious.
