Legendary vocalist of AC DC, Bon Scott died prematurely at the age of 33, but managed to make history in the Australian rock band and participated in six studio albums, such as Highway to Hell (1979). The artist’s story will be told in the film titled The Kid From Harvest Roadwhich is not a biopic, according to the producers.

It is worth remembering how Lee Tiger Halley will play the singer in the film, which has a script written by Stephen Belowsky It is David Vincent Smith. Production is the responsibility of Tim Duffy, Ian Hale It is Nicko Mezzinowhile Smith will be the director.

One of the production companies responsible for The Kid From Harvest Road, HALO Films explained how fans shouldn’t expect the film to be a historically accurate account of the life of Bon Scottbut will use creative license to capture the spirit of the rock star’s life.

“The producers behind The Kid From Harvest Road are incredibly humbled and grateful for the enormous media attention that the film’s recent development announcement has garnered. The enthusiasm and support from the public and the media reaffirms the belief in the power of storytelling,” said representatives (via NME).

“Yet they take pains to express that The Kid From Harvest Road is a project that aims to capture the essence of childhood Bon Scott in Fremantle in a fictional narrative set in the 1960s,” the statement continued. “By drawing inspiration from the stories and atmosphere of the time, rather than attempting a biopic, the film can offer a more imaginative exploration of the character and experiences in Scott.”

Focusing on his formative years in Fremantle allows for a deeper dive into the influences and events that shaped him as a person and, ultimately, as the iconic lead singer of AC DC. It also offers an opportunity to explore the cultural landscape of the time, including the burgeoning music scene and social dynamics.
