The feature arrives as part of the Fully Yoked update
Microsoft and Obsidian Entertainment revealed at PAX East that Grounded players can expect the Fully Yoked update to arrive on April 16, the same date the game releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch.
This is the latest content update for the game, the main novelty of which is the addition of the New Game+ mode, which players can activate after defeating Brood Mother, Javamatic, Mantis and Wasp Queen. When you do this, a secret door will be unlocked, but you won’t be told what’s behind it.
The new Game+ mode will provide visual and gameplay changes. It will be possible to keep all the equipment, modify the aspects of the elemental weapons and make improvements beyond level 9. All this will be necessary to face the new versions of enemies and bosses. There will also be new weapon and accessory variants to obtain.
Additionally, Obsidian will add red and black fire queen ants, which you can poison or befriend to earn baby ants and pheromone-enriched gems. New Rank 4 weapons will be added, as well as new mutations, swing effects for swords, four new achievements, and more.
Grounded is currently available for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and can also be played via Game Pass.
