Bernier and Elliott are in custody
In the morning, Muriel is getting ready to leave to visit the studio. When Manu offers to drop her off somewhere, the young woman refuses. A worried policeman wants to know if he has enough money to meet his needs. After he confirms that yes, Manu tells him that Elliot will be interviewed by Prosecutor Picard today and that they will learn more about his future after hearing him. However, after many charges were filed against him, Elliott faces 4 months to 4 years in prison. A heavy blow for a young mother.
At the police station, the police set up a confrontation between prosecutor Bernier and Patrice Bienvenue. Obviously, the latter reveals that he never pressured his friend to prevent him from starting an investigation against Fertilizer Plus. He even goes so far as to specify that despite the evil rumours, he has nothing to reproach himself with.
In his defense, Bernier tells his story. A few years ago, the prosecutor bought a country house, a magnificent 18th century building, which was covered by arable land. If the price was reasonable, the cost of repairing it was too high. As his loan amount was insufficient, Patrice Bienvenue offered to help him by paying the invoices of 150,000 euros through his company. which constitutes abuse of social good. Although Patrice Bienvenu denies the facts, Bernier explains to Commissioner Becker that it is enough to contact the company that was responsible for the masonry of the building to receive the invoices in the name of Engrais plus.
Later, Michel Picard said he was happy to close the file. Mr. Bienvenue will be charged with official corruption and poisoning, and the victims will be compensated.
Meanwhile, Ellis calls Elodi and tells her that Patrice Bienvenue has been arrested.
Not far from there, Prosecutor Picard informs Elliott that he will be brought in and charged with fleeing abroad. He will also have to pay the penalty for the cases before this escape. The suspended sentences have expired and the sentencing judge will rule on the matter.
However, Michel Picard claims that the prosecutor’s office will be satisfied with the request of the principle of punishment, taking into account the cooperation with the police services. So Elliot hopes that when he leaves prison, he will finally be free.
Before he goes to jail, Commissioner Becker lends him his cell phone. The latter immediately calls Muriel and tells her that he will be brought before a judge and then arrested. When she seems cold to him, he asks her for news about Thomas, but he continues to be distant. After she tells him she’s sorry, Elliot questions her to see if she’ll come see him at the prison. Only Muriel doesn’t know it yet. A moved Elliot declares that he loves them both and doesn’t want to lose them. For her part, Muriel replies that she doesn’t know where she is until she hangs up.
Allen cheats on Elizabeth
Instead of hanging around the house alone, Allen decided to go to the opera. And the doctor managed to sell Elizabeth’s place on an online auction site.
In the morning, the doctor gets a call from Elizabeth, who tells him how heartbroken it is to hear that she is depressed. Although she thinks she’s confused about the opera, Allen reminds her that it’s not a problem. He then calmly explains to her that he puts his priorities where they should be. Unfortunately, Allen can’t tell her any more because his partner gets another call that he has to answer.
At the end of the day, Allen goes to the opera and meets Ava, the woman who bought the ticket.
A few hours later, they left the opera with their eyes full of stars. Allen and Ava then get to know each other, and suffice it to say, things flow pretty well between them. It must be said that they seem to have a few things in common and, in particular, a shared passion for opera.
After a while, Ava walks Allen to her car. As she refuses to start, he offers to take her home, which she accepts. On the way, Allen tells Ava that he has a 1947 lyric recording of La Gioconda with Maria Calla. When Ava invites herself home to listen to him, she has no choice but to accept.
When he gets home, Allen turns on music and serves a glass of wine. After drinking the entire bottle, Ava confides in him that she’s still incapable of driving and has no desire to drive before they kiss her. Allen tells her that he doesn’t live alone, but Ava doesn’t care. As he offers to open a small break, Allen finally succumbs to temptation.
