DreamWorks has already confirmed that the film Bad Boys 2the sequel to the animated film released in 2022, will be released in cinemas in 2025. More precisely, it will debut on the big screen on August 1st next year.
The first film in the series was considered a box office success, managing to gross $250.4 million at the box office, as well as attracting good reviews from critics.
The plot of Bad Boys 2 will tell of “The incredible crime team of outlaw animals struggling to find trust and acceptance in their newly created lives as good guys. However, they are brought out of retirement and forced to do one last job by an all-female team of criminals,” according to the film’s synopsis.
The cast and production team return for the sequel
The sequel will reunite the cast and makers of the first animation. The film is based on the New York Times bestselling book series by Aaron Blabey.
As for the voice cast, Oscar winner Sam Rockwell returns as the charming pickpocket Mr. Wolf; Marc Maron plays the burglar Mr. Snake and Craig Robinson is the master of disguise Mr. Shark.
Also returning will be Zazie Beetz as Diana Foxington; as well as BAFTA winner Richard Ayoade as Professor Marmalade and Emmy winner Alex Borstein as police chief Misty Luggins.
The post-sequel to the animated “The Bad Guys” already has a date to premiere in theaters and first appeared on Olhar Digital.
